Escape Room and Puzzle Design

Escape Rooms are team-based games where groups of players work through a series of puzzles, tasks, and challenges in a limited period of time. A key element of escape rooms are puzzles to challenge the players and immerse them into the narrative through environmental storytelling. During this class, students will learn concepts of the design of puzzles, escape rooms, and other live-action games related to escape rooms like puzzle hunts. Prerequisites: Registration status: Senior Status. Exclusions: DD312B. Registration Notes: There will be one Saturday meeting for the class where students will run their games for the public.
